SOLAR PANELS

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

Solar panels

Currently, photovoltaic installations in single-family homes can cost between 0.8 and 1.4 euros per kWh per year. This means that for a house with an annual electricity consumption of 6,000 kWh, the installation price will be between 4,000 and 7,000 euros, with a repayment term of 7 to 9 years.

It must be taken into account that with the current increases in electricity prices, the repayment terms will go down, since it is not the same as paying 60 euros a month than paying 120 euros, as is happening in most homes.

With the current rise in electricity prices and the existing global tension, the best saving option is solar panels.

The installation of solar panels can save you up to 90% in electricity costs, depending on the equipment you install in your home and the weather conditions.

Quality is very important to us, which is why we carefully select our suppliers. We mainly cooperate with GOODWE, HUAWEI, ALPHA.ESS, SERAPHIM, SUNTECH, KSTAR and other companies, all of which are first-class in the industry.

On the other hand, our solar panels are not only attractive but also smart. In other words, the photovoltaic panels can be placed in different orientations and inclinations, independently of each other.

As a result, our solar panels are less sensitive to shade, allowing them to be placed in more shady locations, such as next to a fireplace. Thanks to this, almost any roof is suitable for a solar panel installation!

Obviously, installing solar panels now is very profitable, firstly because we are going to save up to 90% of our energy costs, secondly we are going to invest in our environment and in a sustainable future for our children.

Given the boom in global sales of solar panels, the costs of all the necessary elements are falling at breakneck speed and we are managing to lower budgets at prices that we could never suspect.

On the other hand, you can take advantage of European and state subsidies for the installation of renewable energies before they run out.

The amount of electricity that a solar panel can generate depends on many factors, the first would be the number of cells that our panel has and its size, it is assumed that the larger the panel, the more cells it has.

Also other important factors are the amount of sun that reaches the plate, the inclination of the sun depending on the time of year in which we are, also if it gives shade to the plate at certain times, dirt, snow, temperature, etc.

In general, one of our plates can generate 535 W per hour in optimal conditions, if we multiply it by 9 plates, for example, we would have a power of 4.82 KV/H.

Depending on the power you need, you must install more or fewer plates.

The ideal is to put the solar panels on the roof of your home, whenever possible with an inclination of 40º and facing South, anything that is another orientation will make you lose daily energy production.

Also in certain cases they can be installed on the facades of houses, on the roof of your car park or on the roof of a pergola in your patio.

As this is a very important factor in the installation of your project, we recommend that you contact us for a prior estimate without commitment.

Depending on which City Council or Community you belong to, they will ask for more or less documentation and licenses, but you will surely need some municipal permit at the very least.

We take care of requesting the necessary permits and we will present the relevant documentation for you.

The process of study, design, request for aid and delivery of documentation can take approximately 2 to 3 months, but this depends on the administrations to which your home belongs.

The installation of the panels is very fast and in a period of 2 to 4 days we will have your solar panels installed.

We only work with top quality products from renowned international companies such as Huawei, GOODWE, SERAPHIM, SUNTECH, etc.

The guarantee is different depending on the product in question and only covers malfunctions due to normal use, the guarantees do not cover problems due to misuse, user negligence, or breakage caused by blows, misuse or problems derived from extreme weather conditions.

The warranty terms are as follows:

  • Solar panels: 12 years
  • Optimizer: 10 years
  • Inverter (from Huawei): 10 years
  • Mounting system: 5 years

Solar panel manufacturers give a power guarantee of around 85% on solar panels for up to 25 years depending on the manufacturer and we offer a 2-year guarantee on the work done.

Indeed, when a solar panel is in the shade, energy generation is reduced, although solar panels also generate energy only with daylight, even if the sun does not hit directly, the energy produced is much less.

For this reason, it is advisable to carry out a preliminary study of the installation to avoid shadows from chimneys, trees, satellite dishes, shadows from other buildings, etc.

As is evident, each house needs a number of plates depending on their consumption and also in relation to the size of the roof of the house

On average, a house with 4 people should install a minimum of 6 to 10 solar panels, with fewer panels the project would possibly no longer be profitable.

The solar panels that we are currently using have the following measurements: 2279x1134x35 mm, each panel weighs about 27 kilos.

We have several types of solar panels, below we show you the characteristics of the most used by our company.

How are our solar panels?

BATTERIES

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

Batteries

The batteries store the electricity generated during the day by the solar panels for use at night. This will reduce the consumption you can make of electricity to your electricity company and will reduce the amount of your electricity bills very significantly.

Our recommendation, even if you have one or more batteries, is to continue to be connected to the electrical network, to avoid possible power outages that could occur due to long periods of lack of sun or system breakdowns.

It is not necessary, although it is highly recommended and depending on the situation of the home and the type of installation it could be interesting to have more than one battery.

However, your installation can work perfectly as long as there is sunlight and it is supported by the connection to your electricity company, you know, when there is no sunlight, the solar panels will not generate any type of energy and you will have to consume the energy of your Electric company.

If you don’t want to install a battery initially, it’s no problem to install it later, as our system supports retrofitting many types of batteries.

As a rule, batteries can be installed near the electrical panel of your home and next to the inverter to which the connection of the solar panels arrives, they must also be equipped with an internet connection, to be able to monitor remotely.

Depending on your solar panel installation, you can install one or more batteries. The more batteries you have installed, the more storage capacity you will have in your home or business.

You should also keep in mind that the batteries need to be placed in a well-ventilated space, since being constantly in operation they can produce some heat from the work done.

Batteries are the most expensive element in an installation and the price depends on their size and storage capacity, they usually cost between 2,000 and 8,000 euros. We recommend that before installing any battery, ask us for a prior estimate and we will try to give you the best possible price.

For us, the best batteries are lithium-ion batteries, one of the main advantages of which is that they do not have what is called the memory effect, as other older batteries had, this means that during their lifetime they barely lose charge capacity.

In our facilities we almost always use GOODWE brand batteries, whose quality is very high and technologically very advanced, they have the LFP system to optimize the user experience, they allow the Plug & Play connection to put several batteries in parallel.

The GOODWE brand batteries we use allow self-recognition of modules, remote diagnostics and updating, automatic restart in undervoltage and are suitable for outdoor installation.

With our range of batteries you can choose a usable energy power between 4.8 kWh up to 28.8 kWh depending on the model chosen.

This will depend on your daily energy needs, since it is not the same need on a winter day as on a summer day.

For this, the best thing is that we do a preliminary study without obligation and we will recommend the best option for your installation.

VEHICLE CHARGERS

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

Electric vehicle chargers

There are three main types of electric vehicle charging: fast, fast and slow. These represent the power outputs, and therefore charging rates, available to charge an electric vehicle. Note that power is measured in kilowatts (kW).

Each type of charger has an associated set of connectors that are designed for low or high power use, and for AC or DC charging.
